Was Jesus a Bible Thumper?

Of course He was and is.
Someone once told me that the Pharisee's were the "Bible thumpers" of Jesus' day. I disagreed, but did not have any evidence at the time, so I did a little bit of research to find out. I came up with 10 references (possibly stretch it to 11) where the Pharisees "thumped" the Bible, and at least 53 (shown below) where Jesus "thumped" the Bible. I should define my meaning of what "thumping the Bible means". When I hear the term "Bible thumper" used, it is usually a derogatory term used by people who are offended by those who quote Scriptures as their authority. Personally, I can't think of a better Authority. That Authority is as superior to man's authority as God is superior to man. Bible Thumpers say something like "The Bible says ..." or equivalent. It became obvious from my study that Jesus referred to the authority of Scriptures much more than the Jewish leaders of His day. Jesus was the "Bible thumper" - not the Jews. Below, I have listed where Scripture specifically records that Jesus was appealing explicitly to Scripture (it is written, written in the law and prophets, etc.). It does not include where Jesus may have quoted or paraphrased the Old Testament Scriptures and it was not footnoted by the Gospel writer as a quote from one of the Old Testament prophets or writers. This list also does not include the vast number of times the New Testament writers referred to Scripture as their authority. There is no doubt that Jesus and the Apostles appealed to Scripture to authorize their message. They did not refer to the Old Testament Jewish "church" as authoritative nor did they refer to the New Testament church as authoritative. They overwhelmingly appealed to Scripture to serve as proof to their argument. Jesus appealing to Scripture:
